tilesetter you ask?
"After this Paul left Athens and went to Corinth. And he found a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. And he went to see them, and because he was of the same trade he stayed with them and worked, for they were tentmakers by trade (Acts 18.1-3)."
Like Paul, I Eric, am living in Boise as a missionary of some sort and in the off season I fill my time with tile jobs. Similar to Paul moving from Athens to Corinth, I moved from Bend, Oregon to Boise, Idaho in 2007 to study the Bible inductively for 1 year in what was called the School of Biblical Studies. Prior to my SBS my dad, Tom McCray, graciously taught me the trade of tiling and now I am off on my own in Boise making the attempt to make ends meet while I teach at the School of Biblical Action...so begins my tiling blog for past and potential clients and also those who find themselves curious to see what God, like in the 1st century, is doing in the 21st.
